gameday is built to need as little of your data as possible. There are no accounts and no sign-up. The teams you follow and your recently-viewed games are stored only in this browser (local storage) — they stay on your device and you can clear them any time by clearing site data.

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage — things like which sports and features are popular — so we can improve the app. This is standard, non-identifying analytics, and it's disabled automatically if your browser blocks trackers.

If you turn on goal & kickoff alerts, your browser's push subscription and the teams you follow are stored on our server so we can send those notifications. Turn alerts off and that subscription is removed.

Some “where to watch” links may be affiliate links, which can set third-party cookies via the broadcaster or its affiliate network when you tap them. gameday is an independent project and never sells your personal information.
